Scott Wade is an ordained minister, author, speaker, and the founder of Momentum Ministries. For more than four decades his passion has been helping people attain, maintain, and regain spiritual momentum.

His ministry is rooted in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition while serving Christians from a wide variety of church backgrounds. Whether preaching in a local church, speaking at a conference, writing, or simply encouraging someone, Scott is committed to helping people build a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Scott and his wife, Lana, have served together for more than forty years. Their ministry has included the pastorate, evangelism, worship, retreats, revivals, and camps, and they share a passion for encouraging the Church and lifting up Jesus.

Scott is the author of numerous books and ministry resources, including the five-volume Climb series. A growing emphasis of his ministry is making biblically sound resources available in Spanish and other languages.

Today he continues preaching, writing, and speaking through Momentum Ministries, based in Charleston, South Carolina.

Momentum Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Scott is a Nazarene elder; the ministry itself is not officially connected to the Church of the Nazarene.

What We Believe

We believe in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that human beings are born with a fallen nature, and are, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
